2. Cut straps in half or cut to about 1/2 inch acrossed

4. Take the green straps and fold 1 1/2 in from the end. Then fold the longer end opposite of the first fold and repeat for the leaves. 3 to 4 folds should be enough.
5. Stick the skewer through the folded green strap in the center for the leaves.

6. Next use the same skewer and stick it through the candy rose you made with the red straps. Make sure you don’t go all the way through the candy rose
7. Push the green strap (green leaves) up to the red strap (red candy rose).

8. Place the candy rose in a cellophane bag and wrap the bag around the skewer for a tight seal. Be sure to cut the unneeded portion of the cellophane.
9. Finish it off with a pretty ribbon to hold the seal tight and give it a little pizzaz.
10. Repeat 11 more times for a beautiful sweet dozen candy roses.

BONUS Tips

  • Use the leftover ribbon to bundle the dozen sweet candy roses together.
